Cooking surfaces engineered around the way you cook
From precise induction to a gas flame and fully modular cooking set into the worktop, our hobs offer a surface for every style of cooking. Engineered by ASKO and V-ZUG, each unites exacting control with the clean, considered design of the modern kitchen.
Frequently asked questions about our hobs
For most Lebanese homes, we recommend a combination of roughly two-thirds gas and one-third induction. Gas suits traditional cooking styles and the high, direct heat many Lebanese dishes rely on, while an induction zone adds speed, precision and easy cleaning. Our modular hobs make it simple to combine both in one seamless worktop layout.
Although they look alike, they are very different materials. Tempered glass can crack or shatter when exposed to intense heat and sudden temperature changes, while glass-ceramic is engineered specifically to withstand them. All our gas hobs are gas-on-glass-ceramic, combining the look of a sleek glass surface with the durability to handle intensive cooking.
Yes. Induction works only with cookware that has a magnetic base, such as cast iron or most stainless steel. Induction-compatible pans are now widely available, and a simple test is to check whether a magnet sticks to the base of your existing pans.
For everyday cooking, a single induction zone typically draws around 6 to 10 amps. With the booster function, a zone can reach up to 3.7 kW, about 16 amps, for very fast boiling. A full 60 or 80 cm induction hob has a total connected load of up to 7.4 kW, so our team checks your electrical supply before installation.
Yes. Most of our induction hobs can have their maximum power capped during installation, so the hob stays within the capacity of your home’s electrical supply. The hob automatically manages power between zones to remain within the set limit.
Yes. All our gas hobs come with liquid gas (LPG) converters, so they can run on bottled gas, the standard supply in most Lebanese homes. The conversion is carried out during installation, so your hob is ready to use from day one.
Yes. A flush-mounted hob sits level with the worktop, creating a seamless surface that is much easier to clean, with no edges for dirt to collect around. The only trade-off is that maintenance access is slightly more involved, but we believe the everyday benefits are well worth it.
Flexible zones let you combine cooking areas into one larger surface for oversized pans, griddles or fish kettles. V-ZUG hobs with ZoneFlex offer linked zones, while the 90 cm FullFlex induction hob allows you to place cookware anywhere on the surface.
Yes. V-ZUG hobs with OptiLink connect to a compatible V-ZUG extractor hood, which switches on and adjusts its fan speed automatically according to your cooking activity.
A hob with integrated extraction draws steam and cooking odours downwards directly at the cooking surface, removing the need for an overhead hood. It is ideal for island kitchens and open-plan spaces. We offer the V-ZUG CombiCookTop V4000 and the FIM Tolomeo induction hob with a downdraft extractor.
Invisible induction is installed beneath the worktop, so the worktop surface itself becomes the hob, leaving a completely clear surface when not in use. Our Invisacook systems work with compatible worktop materials such as porcelain and sintered stone, and our team can advise on the right surface for your kitchen.
Our hobs range from 30 cm and 38 cm modular units, including induction, gas, wok and Teppanyaki, up to full-width 60, 80 and 90 cm models. Modular units can be combined side by side to create a cooking layout tailored to the way you cook.
Delivery and installation are free of charge anywhere in Lebanon, and every hob is covered by a two-year warranty. We can also remove and dispose of your old hob at no extra cost.
