Premium Wood Flooring for Every Interior
Few things transform a home like a real wood floor. At Kitchen Avenue, we bring together three of Europe's most respected flooring names — Parky, Cabbani, and The Twelve — each offering the beauty and warmth of genuine wood, engineered for the demands of modern living. From hard-wearing veneer to bespoke, made-to-order parquet, there is a floor here for every interior, every taste, and every way of life.
Frequently asked questions about our parquet
All three are real wood floors, but each suits a different priority. Parky pairs a thin real-wood veneer with an ultra-strong HDF core and a highly durable lacquer, making it the most resilient and accessible option, ideal for busy family homes. Cabbani is bespoke parquet, made to order in France, where you choose the plank size, wood species, top-layer thickness and finish, including chevron and herringbone patterns. The Twelve is a curated collection of twelve European oak floors, each with a 3 mm solid oak top layer and a natural oiled finish. Our team in Lebanon can help you compare them side by side.
Engineered parquet bonds a real-wood top layer to a stable core made of HDF, plywood or layered pine. Solid wood planks expand and contract with changes in humidity and temperature, which can cause gaps, cupping or warping. An engineered construction stays far more stable through Lebanon's humid coastal summers and seasonal temperature swings, and all three of our brands are engineered floors.
Parky is the strongest choice for high-traffic areas. Its usage class 33 rating, ultra-strong HDF core and eight-layer WOODSHIELD lacquer make it highly resistant to scratches, dents and spills, so it suits kitchens, hallways and homes with children or pets. Cabbani and The Twelve are rated usage class 31, which suits every room in the home, and they reward a little more care with the depth of a thicker solid-wood surface.
The usage class is a European rating that indicates how much wear a floor can withstand. Class 31 is suitable for all residential rooms and light commercial use. Class 33 is rated for heavy commercial traffic, so in a home it offers an exceptional margin of durability.
Cabbani and The Twelve, with real-wood top layers of 3 mm or more, can be sanded and refinished several times over their lifetime, which restores the surface to its original condition. Parky's 0.6 mm veneer is not designed to be sanded. Instead, its WOODSHIELD lacquer is engineered to resist wear in the first place.
A lacquered finish, as on Parky and Cabbani, forms a protective layer on the surface. It is easy to clean and resists stains and wear with minimal upkeep. An oiled finish, as on The Twelve, soaks into the wood and gives a natural, matt look that feels warmer underfoot. It benefits from occasional re-oiling, and small marks can be treated locally without refinishing the whole floor.
Parky uses the Unifit X click system and can be laid floating, so the planks lock together without glue, or glued down. Floating installation is quick and clean. Cabbani and The Twelve are glued to the subfloor, which gives a solid, quiet feel underfoot and is the traditional method for premium parquet. Our installation team handles every method across Lebanon.
Yes. Parky's click system allows it to be laid floating directly over existing tiled floors, provided the surface is level and sound. There's no need to remove the old tiles, which saves time, cost and mess, making it a popular choice for renovations across Lebanon. Our team will assess your floor before installation.
Yes. Cabbani makes chevron and herringbone patterns to order, as part of its bespoke service. You choose the wood, the dimensions and the finish to suit your interior.
Yes. All three brands are compatible with underfloor heating, and their engineered construction keeps the floor stable as the temperature changes.
Parky is the most accessible of the three, offering the look and warmth of real wood with exceptional durability. The Twelve sits in the middle, with a thicker solid oak top layer and a natural oiled finish. Cabbani, being made to order to your specification, is the most premium option.
